Downloading and Installing Guide

Having trouble downloading? Well you have came to the right place. Here is where I will be teaching you how and where to download everything required.

Instructions
1. Download the "v83 Maplestory" file.

2. Go to where you saved "v83 Maplestory" and double click on it to install. Follow the steps and install.

3.In the mean time, download the "MyStoryMS.exe client" by clicking either ONE of the following link:

4. when ALL downloads are finished. COPY the "MyStoryMS.exe Client" and PASTE it inside the "v83 Maplestory" Folder.

5. Now you can play, double click on the MyStoryMS.exe Client to start.
Don't forget to register!

If there are any problems, don't be afraid to ask questions.

Uhh Nat, when i double click MyStoryMS it comes up as [ error code : -2147287038 etcetc ]. Is it compatible with vista? o.o

I'm not quite sure what code that is..

Try :
1. Right click on the client
2. go properties
3. go to the compatability tab
4. Tick "Run this program in compatablity mode for"
5. click the drop down menu and go "windows XP (service pack 3)"
6. double click client

I'll try a different comp and see if it works.

I've been having the same problem lately, Maplestory doesn't seem to want to work on my PC, it's a 64-bit Computer and Every-time I try to run maple, it gives me the error that it can't run and whatnot...
I've tried the whole properties/Compatibility thing and that still fails to work...

I'm still trying to figure out how to get it working..So I apologise, mostly to Nathan for reasons such as waiting to promote my character In-Game. I'm trying to resolve the problem as fast as possible... :/

If anyone can possibly suggest things or help out then please do Dx

*EDIT*
When I open the MyStory.exe client up, it basically loads to the black screen and then refreshes itself straight back to my Desktop, with the "MyStory.eve has stopped running" error thing..
Any suggestions for help will be much appreciated. =]

Is it the same as mine? If it is, i know how to fix it.
